Design, animation & compositing for Jay Gillespie and Worker Bee Films.
- Director, Cinematographer, Editor: Worker Bee Films

For the 2013 CEO message there was a strong push away from the graphic styles employed in earlier GE media. The dots which were everywhere in the GE 2012 CEO message were banished, as was the “text in space” treatment.
As this piece was being developed in tandem with both the physical, printed version of the annual report as well as the digital / online version, we were faced once more with an ever-morphing project. As the printed version was developed, the look of the two other pieces would need to match, and the printed version continued to change until literally the last minute.
My role was a little different this year, acting as motion graphics artist as well as assistant editor and assistant producer. Vincent Reynaud was my co-conspirator for the graphics. Richard Colbourne was creative director, Kin Yuen was design director, and Gonzalo de la Asunción was the art director. Jay Gillespie was the cinematographer for the interview, Danny Prussmann was the editor and Rebecca Horne was our producer.

For this project I was asked by Buttermilk Studios to update an existing spot to reflect the new aesthetic direction of Nickelodeon. This involved creating and replacing the graphics in the environment that had been previously constructed, re-keying and re-grading the talent to match.
Chris Davis was the creative director, Cricket Keys was the producer.

This was one of the earlier projects I was asked to work on with Addison, and still stands as one of my favorites. It’s the CEO message from Jeff Immelt that accompanied the annual report for GE, wrapping up the year 2012. Jan Tompkins-Jackson recommended that I join her for the project, and we worked together to develop the look under the direction of Richard Colbourne and Gonzalo de la Asunción. Jay Gillespie was the editor and cinematographer for the interview, and Marcie Heffron was the wonderful producer that brought us all together.

This short animation was created for Addison in 2014. My role was to guide the script development and animation design from concept to delivery. Gonzalo de la Asunción was the designer, Eliott Saltzman lent his voice, and Damien de Bruijn was responsible for writing.
Created with Adobe After Effects and Maxon Cinema 4D.
